The Earth blocks the light (consciousness) of the Sun casting its light on the moon – always a full moon. This will not be a total lunar eclipse but a penumbra eclipse and a small one so that it will be barely perceptible but in Australia and Asia.
While light is consciousness we use our light to identify areas of darkness so as to release the psychological shadow to the light. Shadow elements or Capricorn and Cancer (Sun in Cancer) are available for us to look at, work with and release.
Some Cancer shadow issues are narcissism, over-indulgence, and immaturity, creating oneself as a victim.
Some Capricorn shadow issues are a patriarchal dominance imbued with capricious cruelty, rules that change for the sake of the power-possessor, and conversely martyrdom in isolation, blame, guilt and shame.
The nature of the 2000 years of the patriarchy has been associated with Capricorn and as we all know that no longer works. Transformational magic – destruction and re-creation forces are at work in all things patriarchal ranging from governments to business, Automobiles and oil both patriarchal and darkly Capricorn are undergoing destruction and re-creation processes.
Dreams and visions of the future and the future of the community of the planet are healing. When you look to June of 1990 – a similar healing theme is now occurring and that time was just before the beginning of the vibrational opening into the 6th world.
• 1st world – Sirians, Pleiadians and other ETs deposited life systems and life-forms on Planet earth - 1 million years
• 2nd world – Shambhalans arrived, Pangaea held all the corporeal and non-corporeal beings 100 thousand years
• 3rd world – Lemurians, Atlantians and Hyperboreans were the major races. The Shambhalans had disappeared from corporeal space
• 4th world began with the Nuclear destruction of the 3rd world and the beginning of the Matriarch 4,000 years
• 5th world began with the Huns sweep of Asia and the destruction of the matriarchy for the patriarchy 2 – 3,000 years
• 6th world – of partnership and community began in 1991
Innovative experiments are supported by this Full Moon as well as acting the principles of healing to establish new forms in the community.

New Moon in Cancer

The evolution/revolution continues. Yes there was a lapse in my astrological reporting but we only need look around us to see the transformations of an accelerated world gone wild. The Guides – The Twelve have kept me fairly busy see blog http://thetwelvespeak.blogspot.com/ for more.
New Moons are about beginnings. During all new moons the nature of gravity the creates a strong downward pulling force. You may feel more grounded with a renewed sense of purpose. This may be especially true because this is a super full new moon when the Moon during a full or new phase is as close to the earth as it will get. This creates a greater force on earth’s tectonic plates. Indications hold that a major earthquake could occur in Pakistan or Afghanistan.
Larger cycles coming to an end – such as the 16 billion year Mayan cycle - are indications of a major evolutionary leap. We have all be feeling it one way or the other. Endings - especially finding lines in space (ha-ha) are never clearly delineated and to quote an Art Garfunkel song “they say in the darkest night there’s a light beyond, but endings always comes at last, endings always come too fast and they pass too slow…” We are deep in a period of endings – releasing the old familiar ways for something new and this may seem tediously slow and test our patience.
So this new moon is a radical redefinition of nurturing ourselves, a redefining of yin/yang or male female roles. Change and expansion is being supported in new ways to nurture our selves. The goddess in men and women is blending with the god or spirit in us all. One note of caution in business or work situations: be careful of having a thinking / talking overload, of saddling yourself with too much and imploding. Delegate, delegate - dance to the music...

Everyone has been feeling the changes. Change is always difficult for our egos because we can’t nail down the content of the future. Trust is an important factor in all-transformational environments. We need to trust universe, the Spirit and ourselves. When we have grounded trust in our being then change can be less stressful.
The nature – the very ground of our beingness – of how we nurture ourselves is being transformed. This is a back to basics movement based on the health of the environment and our very survival. Thus the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere is both sobering and magical from an alchemical point of view. The best magic is when we surrender control to let Spirit and the forces of the universe shape our lives in exciting new ways. Surrender requires the presence of being to let go of old dysfunctional patterns while letting the Higher Self and/or Spirit bring a new healthy pattern to us.
The day can be a mixed one or it can be a springboard into the next 6 months (until the next solstice) and looking at our progress on 9/22 the Equinox. We can expand our dreams and visions and work to heal them as we work to clean our space and our planet. What are the dysfunctional patterns that sabotage you from manifesting your visions? (You may need help so contact me for a session if need be I have some techniques that are useful in letting go of the old and establishing new healthy patterns in us.)

Mercury Retrogrades
Begins 05-06 - 10:01 pm PDT 2 degrees Gemini
Ends 05-30 - 6:22 pm PDT 23 degrees Taurus
For the first two days of the Mercury retrograde period expect that commications will be intense, super friendly, philosopical and a bit disembodied. Endeavor to stay grounded and remember that the two sides of any issue are held together by the gestalt of the whole issue.
For the following period while Mercury retrogrades back through Taurus we can expect that values, beauty, sensual love, art and money issues will grow more intense. Start-up businesses having to do with green where Earth is part of the equations are good for rooting and growth. Money and the perception of money and its general collapse (down economy) is on every body's mind. If your reaction to intensity is fear that you will continue to be afraid about the security of your money. However if you break through your fear-based issues (face fear) you can excel in establishing new negotiations in growing your job, career or business.

Taurus New Moon 4/24/09
Taurus New Moon 4/24 at 8:24 pm PDT, at 7˚

This is a rich time of action amidst change. We may be able to focus our attention on out-worn habits that are ripe for transformation at this time. This is also a dynamic time between women and men in matters of love for the delights of chemistry and cleaning up old karma. The ability to choose and carry out a decision in linked with love and passion for our struggle from now until mid-July.
Now is a time of magic as long as we can lay the groundwork through hard work and planning, luck will follow.
On a broader scope: Who speaks for the planet? How is fairness, justice and equality linked for the survival and health of our planet?

Look back to Mar 26 - what was calling out in you to be released? How did you handle it? How is your love and money situations faring? How are you handling the changes?
Prepare for the trickster (the unexpected) - could be good luck if your actions are compassionate and community driven. Look for protests from established authorities at odds with innovative changes.
Seven days ago (see 4/3 below) financial markets hit peak intensity for good or ill. Did you make the changes in your network/ love that made the difference. the emerging cultural imperative suggests that a simpler local community based support systems is evolving. If the changes that you were expecting from Mar 26 or Apr 3 have not yet panned out radical actions may be warranted.
Look at the changes that have occurred since 2/9/09. Based on those changes- what are your options now? How do you gauge your abundance and prosperity?

It could be that financial markets or international interests will mark an intense turn of events of the day of 4/3. Look for reaction from Wall Street to regulations coming from government in a mixed way today. Republicans not in favor of banking regulations from Geithner - Treasure Secretary could be the source of some of the difficulty,
However if there is solidarity and no major disruptions or reports of downturns in Europe or Asia then the US Stockmarket could surge on bi-partisan soliditarity. This could go either way.
It could be a big up turn or downturn. No middle ground here.
